Hoyt has used the latest in DSP semiconductor techniques and SMD circuitry to produce an extremely compact electronic kWh meter which is intended to replace clumsy mechanical meters. To avoid using bulky terminals the current path passes through an inbuilt CT via a hole through the case. In addition to the integral 6 digit counter the meter can be supplied in a version which has an NPN open collector pulse output for use with data loggers or similar electronic recorders or controllers.

LP-3KW4 – A three-phase kWh meter

Semiconductor technology is used to produce a very compact electronic kWh meter as a replacement for electro-mechanical check meters. The meter is a three element device with three CT inputs giving true readings on 4 wire unbalanced systems. In addition to the integral 7 digit counter there is a pulse output for use with data loggers or similar electronic recorders or controllers. The compact circuitry employed allows this meter to be housed in a standard 4M wide Din rail mounting case

The C&C Energy Meter is based on semiconductor technology and is intended to replace the conventional electromechanical (Ferraris type) commonly used power meter. Models are available for single phase, three phase three wire and three phase four wire systems. Inputs are from standard current transformers and normal mains voltages. Output is in the formof unit energy (watt-hour) pulses read by the built in counter or outputted to an external counting system.

HLD-06 Single Elec. Watt-Hour Meter

The HLD06 single-phase meter is a socket type meter designed to meet the latest ANSI C 12.1 and ANSI 12.10 Standards. The meter measures active energy in single-phase two wire or three wire alternation current power grids. Connection is FM 1S and FM 2S. It is a reliable long service life meter. The average service life (MTTF) is 30 years and the maximum current to 200A. Both cyclometer-type and pointer registers are available. In addition, it can be equipped with an ARM module.

Meter Case
The socket type meter case complies iwth ANSI C 12.7 – 1993 and meets the protection requirements set by ANSI C 12.10 – 1993.
Driving Element
The driving element consists of a voltage element and a current element, both of which are fixed on the aluminum alloy frame. It has a load curve compensation mechanism and an inductive load adjustment mechanism.
Rotor
The worm is an undetachable part of the shaft so that the mesh between the worm and shaft is improved. Both ends of the shaft are embedded with a praphite bearing to ensure the long service life of the meter.
Upper Bearing
The upper bearing consists of a guide pina dn an aluminum sleeve.
Lower Bearing
The lover bearing consists of a guide pin and a brass sleeve, and is fixed into the meter frame by one screw.
Braking Element
Two magnet cubes are die-casted into the meter frame by aluminum alloy. It has a temperature compensation plate.
Register
Both pointer and cyclometer registers are available.
