Semiconductor technology is used to produce very compact electronic kWh meters as a replacement for electro-mechanical check meters. The meter range has variations for single phase, two phase, three phase 3/4 wire balanced and 3/4 wire unbalanced systems. In addition to the LCD display of kWhrs there is a galvanically isolated pulse output for use with separate counters, data loggers or similar electronic recorders or controllers. The compact circuitry employed allows these meters to be housed in a standard 3M or 4M DIN rail mount case.

DDS-28 Single-phase Watt-hour Meter

DDS28 static single-phase watt-hour meter measures active energy in single-phase three wire alternating current power grids at rated frequency 60Hz and voltage 240V. The meter complies with the international standard IEC 61036 and the accuracy class is 1. Featuring high accuracy and reliability, it also prevents the illegal action of pilfering electricity. The reliability and service life of the meters have been greatly improved by adopting large-scale integration (LSI) and SMT as well as long-life key components of international brand. The meters have a solid structure that is suitable for household power consumption and long-life running. Provided with pulse output, the remote control detecting of consumption locale is available.

K4000 & KW4000 Series

Three Phase Kilowatt Hour / kW Demand Meter
Series 4000 three phase kWh and kW Demand meters are processor based (driven by firmware) for metering electrical usage in commercial, industrial, military and / or institutional facilities. Using 25 PPM Mill Spec components these meters are +/- 0.2% accurate through a wide temperature range. All readings are stored in a RAM chip, without the use of batteries. All readings are direct read, without the use of multipliers. The maximum demand value is reset using a keyed switch. Revenue grade meters do not allow the reset of Kilowatt hours.All Series 4000 meters come with one digital pulsed output and Modbus RS485 communications as a standard offering. Connected to these meters are labeled +/- 0.5% – 1% accurate solid core, split core or bar type current transformers. Up to four sets of current transformers can be connected to these meters (consult NMI application engineer).
