What is Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works, Inc. (Hoyt) Warranty?

Hoyt warranties its products to be free of defective materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year after shipment to the original purchaser unless otherwise noted. This warranty shall be limited to defective materials and workmanship. It will not cover those products that have been damaged due to improper handling, storage, installation or operation by the purchaser or any third party. Return Shipments must be made in the original packaging or packaging of equal quality that will provide appropriate protection during shipping. Hoyt will not be responsible for warranty repair of products returned via inadequate containers and packaging, nor for missing components. Hoyt shall not be liable for any special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages made by the buyer or any third party. This statement of warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, guarantees, liabilities, obligations, statutory or implied to the original purchaser or to any other party.

What information does the Hoyt Representative need in order to help me complete an RMA?

Please have the Purchase Order that the product was originally ordered on, the part number(s), quantity rejected and reason for rejection.

What must accompany my RMA and what address do I send it back to?

When sending back an RMA we ask that you include a copy of the completed RMA form provided to you by your Hoyt personnel.
Once the product is properly packaged please make sure the RMA number is clearly marked on the outer carton of the return

What are the cost if my product is deemed by Hoyt to be out of warranty?

The Hoyt staff will review all returning products and determine if product neglect or if the product(s) that have been damaged due to improper handling, storage, installation or operation by the purchaser or any third party. In these cases fees may apply.

I purchased my meter through a Hoyt Distributor can I send it directly to the Hoyt factory?

Please contact the distributor where the original purchase was placed for assistance regarding the proper handling of the repair.
